The history of Validus goes back to 1960
In 1960, founder Torgeir Stykket started a wholesale company with NOK 1000 that he borrowed and an old taxi. In 1994, the Stykket family took over Validus Engros. Over the last few years, Validus has taken over a number of companies – both large and small – and helped to structure the industry; not just in the field of health foods, but also as regards the specialist fields of cosmetics, hygiene and the professional market for hair and skincare in Norway.
